This time it was with Hindley green and the girls gave a very good account of themselves against a good side that had 1 or 2 individuals that changed the game.

The score line didn’t represent the effort the girls put in on a wet Sunday morning at the arena.

So proud of how they handled themselves and never took a backward step.

Just a few words from the coach on the players today

GM- showed great resilience in between sticks today by throwing herself at the feet of players.

AG- very impressed with her work rate and never gave up in attack and defence.

DP- a real threat down both wings and in attack took her goals well.

PV- had a good stint up front in a positional change and seemed to enjoy it also put her hand up to go btw the sticks

EL- her performance in defence was superb and long may it continue. Her confidence will grow now l.

AC- played in a more forward position today and didn’t look out of place and was rewarded with a goal.

MU- Captain for the day and made some good touches and passes down the wing and is settling into the team well.

I know the weather was terrible today but I thought at times we clicked with our passing and the pressing of the opposition is coming on wonders.
