The Tigerlilies played a game against the de la salle divas at a cold Bolton arena this morning.

A great game of football this morning from the girls against a quick side in the divas.

The Tigerlilies got stuck in from the start and held the divas pretty close for large periods of the game.

There was some great little matchups this morning between the teams which was a positive as the girls never took a backward step.

The opposition goalkeeper was good in saving shots that were almost certain goals for the Tigerlilies

Never the less Tigerlilies kept chipping away and never backed down and kept they heads high, showing true sportsmanship and love of the game.

PPOTM - Evelyn Lally
Showed some true grit in defence. She tackled everything that came her way and even had the confidence to move forwards at times with the ball into attacking areas.

SPOTM - .Aria Haslam
Started off the match in between the sticks and produced a superb performance with numerous saves.
Slotted into the defence without a problem and made some critical tackles at times

CPOTM- Willow Waryck Welch.
Willow produced one of her best games in a Tigerlilies shirt today as she tackled well when needed and when she had open space she would dribble it and try and find a pass to her fellow teammates.

Overall a great team performance from the girls and we keep improving week in week out but the spirit they show is unquestionably and never giving.
