The Avengers made several changes to their usual line up with Tyler playing left back, Rylan playing CB am which allowed Jacob to play CM and Dec a run out at LW.

The games started and it was the Avengers who looked the only team who were up for playing in the conditions, with Joe dancing his way past several defenders from inside his own half but couldn't find the target at the end of it.

The boys broke the deadlock early doors with a long range effort from Fish skidding off the wet surface and flying past the helpless keeper .
Eastleigh kept pushing forward with BLGC unable to cope with the pressure and soon scored a 2nd goal from Joe at close range and 3rd soon after that with Harvey taking a shot from the edge of the box deflecting in off the defender past a stranded keeper.

BLGC started to work a little more and managed to pull a goal back after a blind pass in to the centre from Jacob led to a quick counter attack and scoring of keeper Charlie's head. 3-1 HT

The 2nd half started off with the 2 teams looking more evenly matched with Eastleigh still looking the better team creating several chances but unable to find the back of the net, the break through finally came with Joe working hard up the left and putting the ball on a plate for Liam to tap in.
A 5th soon followed with a great run from halfway from Dec leaving the defenders in his wake and finishing well off the inside of the right post, the game looked to be done at this point but number 65 attacked from the kick off down the right beating 2 defenders and smashing a great goal from edge of the box.
Joe saw the game out with his 2nd again finishing from close range.

Some really nice football played by the boys in less than ideal conditions.
